TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE

By using Draft Punk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of the web app and any mobile app versions.

2. THE SERVICE

Draft Punk is a writing productivity and tracking tool. We provide it as-is and make no guarantees of uptime, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account used to sign in. You must be 13 or older to use Draft Punk. One account per person — creating multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards is prohibited.

4. YOUR CONTENT

You own all writing, notes, and other content you create in Draft Punk. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and sync your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your creative work and will never use it for any other purpose.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Send abusive, harassing, or spam messages to other users
  • Share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
  • Manipulate word counts or leaderboard positions dishonestly
  • Attempt to access other users' private data
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the app's infrastructure

6. SOCIAL FEATURES

The friends, messaging, and chapter sharing features are provided to support the writing community. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that misuse these features. Users can remove friends and delete messages at any time.

7. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

You can delete your account at any time from the ··· menu → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. DATA AND BACKUPS

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we strongly recommend using the Backup feature regularly. We are not liable for data loss resulting from technical failures, account deletion, or service changes.

9. LIABILITY

Draft Punk is provided without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify users of significant changes within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under those laws.
